Yamaha has unveiled the YZF-R25 and the YZF-R15 dressed up in two exciting new MotoGP-inspired liveries. The only problem is that these Monster Tech 3 and Movistar liveries would be available in a limited run only in the Indonesian market, effectively putting them out of the reach of Indian customers.
Both the R25 and the R15 are available either in black and Monster green paint scheme with the Stanley stamp or in the Movistar Yamaha factory livery. While the former is the livery of Tech3 satellite team, the second one is inspired by the MotoGP bike that Rossi and Lorenzo currently use in the 2015 season.
Yamaha’s favouritism for the Indonesian markets stems from the fact that the country happens to be the Japanese manufacturer’s biggest market in terms of volumes. Exclusive paint schemes like these are a way in which the Japanese manufacturer expresses its gratitude to the Indonesian customers. India recently overtook Thailand to become Yamaha’s second largest market, though it seems like this isn’t enough to get noticed by the head honchos sitting at the company’s headquarters in Shizuoka, Japan.
