Yamaha has announced three new colour schemes for the FZ16, FZ-S and the Fazer. The announcement was made through Yamaha India's official Facebook page and the website has also been updated. The good news is that the ex-showroom prices of these motorcycles are unchanged.
The three new colour schemes for the FZ16 are: Panther Black, Raider Red and Ambush Blue, for the FZ-S the colours are: Preying Red, Pouncing Black and Hawk-Eye Gold and for the Fazer, the colours are: Ravine Red, Wilderneess Black and Terrain White.
All the mechanicals of the bikes have been retained and the Yamaha FZ16, FZ-S and the Fazer continue to be powered by the same 153cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. The engine produces 13.8bhp and 13.6Nm of torque and is mated to a five -speed gearbox. All three bikes have a disc brake at the front and a monoshock suspension at the rear.
The announcement comes quick on the heels of the company launching four new colour schemes for the R15 v2.0. Yamaha tends to keep its lineup fresh by introducing new colour schemes for its offerings every once in a while, and the same can be said about these new updates. Yamaha is planning to introduce a facelift for the FZ-S, which was showcased at the Auto Expo in February. This new FZ-S is will feature quite a few cosmetic updates, though the mechanicals are expected to be retained.
