Yamaha India has introduced new paint schemes on the Cygnus Ray ZR. It is now available in a total of five colours, armada blue, matt green, maverick blue, rooster red and darknight edition.
Out of all these colours, armada blue, rooster red and darknight edition are available only in disc brake versions. Rest of the colours are available in both, disc and drum versions. The drum brake models have been priced at Rs 53,451 and the disc brake at 55,898 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Cygnus Ray ZR has been one of the highest selling cars for Yamaha in India. It’s positioned as a stylish scooter for the young male buyers. The scooter is known for its enticing fascia and bulky body proportions. It’s powered by a 113cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor that churns out 7.1bhp and 8.1Nm of peak torque. The company claims an ARAI fuel efficiency of 66kmpl. It goes against the TVS Jupiter and the Honda Activa 5G.
