India Yamaha Motor has launched a female rider training programme in Chennai. The main aim of the company is to train women who are not familiar with proper riding techniques and want to take their scooters out independently.
“Many women in the country do not have the proper riding training or expertise required to ride a two wheeler. With the Yamaha Female Riding Training Program, we want to provide training to many such young women who want to experience the joys of riding a scooter.” said Masaki Asani, deputy MD.
At the same occasion, the company launched a new colour for the Yamaha Ray called the starry white.
