Yamaha Motor India has reported its sales data for January 2021. The total sales have increased by 54 per cent to 55,151 units in January 2021 as against 35,913 units in the corresponding month last year. The company has been consecutively reporting growth in its sales volumes after restrictions of lockdown were lifted from July 2020.
Yamaha expects the overall demand to grow in 2021 owing to varied demand for personal mobility. To attract more buyers, Yamaha’s introduced the ‘Connect X’ application enabled with Bluetooth technology for its motorcycles. The company also introduced the ‘Customize Your Warrior’ campaign for the MT-15 and online shopping experiences like VIRTUAL YAMAHA STORE or the Yamaha accessories and apparels availability on Amazon India.
The two-wheeler brand’s current line-up of BS6 models consists of Fascino, Ray ZR, and Ray ZR Street Rally 125cc scooters, and YZF-R15 3.0, MT-15, FZ FI, and FZS FI 3.0 motorcycles. The company also offers two products in the 250cc segment – the FZ25 and the FZS 25.
