- Yamaha MT-03 priced at Rs 4.60 lakh
- Offered in two paint schemes
- Gets a 321cc, parallel-twin engine
Yamaha recently launched the MT-03 in the country with a price of Rs 4.60 lakh, ex-showroom making it Rs 5,000 more affordable than the R3.
Now, the company is offering the motorcycle in a choice of two colour options. To begin with there is the Midnight Black colour that lends a fully stealth appeal to the streetfighter and is in tune with the same colour that the MT-15 also received initially. Alongside this, the MT-03 is available in Cyan Blue. This paint scheme includes grey with black components. It comes with red and cyan blue on the fuel tank with cyan blue wheels.
While the design is radical with the alien-like LED setup, the MT-03 shares its features with the R3. It gets dual-channel ABS, slipper clutch, upside down forks and an LCD unit. However, it misses out on Bluetooth or ride modes like its rival- the KTM 390 Duke. The motorcycle is powered by a 321cc, parallel-twin engine that churns out 40.4bhp and 29.4Nm. The liquid-cooled motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
