- MBP N300 launched internationally
- Uses a 298cc engine
- Could be launched in India
Keeway Motor Group owned-MBP has unveiled a new motorcycle for international markets called the N300. The motorcycle which is planned to be sold overseas will go up against the Yamaha MT-03 and the KTM 390 Duke as well as the Honda CB300R.
Now, the styling of the MBP N300 is radical yet strikingly similar to other motorcycles in its class. While it gets an exposed trellis frame and a sculpted fuel tank, the bit that stands out is the headlamp. This features an LED projector with LED DRL. That said, the tail lamp and indicators are LED as well. As for features, the N300 comes with a full-colour five-inch TFT display that has resemblance to other motorcycles from Keeway.
Powering the motorycle is a 298cc motor that churns out a decent 29.5bhp and 27Nm. Moreover, with an expected kerb weight of around 160kg, the N300 is a light motorcycle. Premium components are part of the package too with inverted forks and a monoshock from KYB, discs at both ends with dual-channel ABS as standard.
While the brand is looking to sell the N300 internationally, we can expect to see it in India under the Keeway brand name to go up against a number of motorcycle here.
