- Offered in two paint schemes
- Powered by a 321cc parallel-twin cylinder motor
- Rivals the KTM 390 Duke, TVS Apache RTR 310, BMW G 310 R and more
Yamaha India finally revealed the asking price for the MT-03, its latest streetfighter motorcycle. The MT-03 shares its platform with the R3 but differs in terms of the design and the price. If you want to purchase the new Yamaha 300cc naked motorcycle, then here are its on road prices in the top 10 cities.
For reference, the MT-03’s ex-showroom price is set at Rs. 4,59,900. This makes it about Rs. 1.48 lakh costlier than the KTM 390 Duke and almost Rs. 2.16 lakh more expensive than the TVS Apache RTR 310. Overall, the MT-03 seems like a notably expensive motorcycle in its class but it also packs a cylinder more and is currently being offered as a CBU product.
Powering the MT-03 is a 321cc parallel-twin cylinder engine and it makes 41.4bhp and 29.5Nm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox. Yamaha has equipped the MT-03 with LED illumination, and an LCD with all the necessary layouts. That said, it misses out on smartphone connectivity, and rider aids like the quickshifter, traction control, ride modes, and a few more that its rivals get. Yamaha is offering the MT-03 in two paint schemes – Midnight Cyan and Midnight Black.
