- Gets the same paint scheme as before
- Retains the design, features, hardware, and engine
- Costs Rs. 700 more than before
Yamaha India has debuted the 2024 MT-15 V2 Moto GP Edition. The bike now retails at Rs. 1,73,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi) which is Rs. 700 more than before. Apart from the new pricing, the 2024 MT-15 V2 Moto GP Edition gets everything identical to the 2023 model.
The MT 15 V2 Moto GP Edition’s design and styling are the same as the standard model. It gets a centre-set projector LED headlight flanked by a couple of eye-brow-like LED DRLs. The muscular fuel tank, and the black paint scheme with Monster Energy stickers elsewhere, have all been carried over as they were.
Powering the 2024 Yamaha MT 15 V2 Moto GP Edition is the same 155cc, liquid-cooled motor and it brags 18.1bhp at 10,000rpm and a peak torque of 14.1Nm at 7,500rpm. The engine is linked to a six-speed gearbox. On the feature front too, all stays the same. You get LED illumination, an LCD with smartphone connectivity, ABS, traction control, and more. Even the golden-coloured USD front forks and monoshock at the rear are unchanged.
The Yamaha MT-15 is a popular choice among young buyers, for its styling, youthful design, and overall engaging performance.
