Yamaha Motor India recently increased the prices of its select products in India which include its highly popular naked street bike, the MT 15 V2. All the colour variants of the motorcycle have become dearer by Rs 1,500. Notably, Yamaha also launched the new Monster Energy MotoGP edition of the bike recently which is priced at Rs 1,65,400. As for the new prices (ex-showroom) of the existing colours, they are mentioned as per the colour option below:
Metallic Black and Ice Fluo Vermillion: Rs 1,63,400
Cyan Storm and Racing Blue: Rs 1,64,400
The price revision hasn’t brought along any mechanical changes to the bike. It is powered by a 155cc, liquid-cooled engine with variable valve actuation that churns out 18.14bhp and 14.1Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are handled by a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch. The new version of the MT 15 gets a premium set of hardware including upside-down forks and an aluminium swingarm. Meanwhile, the list of features includes an LCD instrument cluster, LED headlight, and LED tail light.
The Yamaha MT 15 V2 locks horns with the KTM 125 Duke in India that is pegged at Rs 1.78 lakh (ex-showroom).
