- MT-09 Cyber Rally showcased
- Inspired from Street Rally of 2014
Yamaha has unveiled an interesting motorcycle at the ongoing Osaka Motor show in Japan. The company pulled the wraps off the MT-09 Cyber Rally edition.
This motorcycle has been made to showcase the brand’s Street Rally version that was sold in 2014. However, the 2022 version looks more modern and promising. Yamaha has used the parts bin from its own Y’S gear to make this creation.
The fascia gets a transparent headlamp cowl that covers the instrument cluster fully. Then there’s the handguards that gets winglet – something that we haven’t seen in the market for a while. From the picture, it looks like it is made from carbon fiber, but it could be some plastic covering. The other additions done on the motorcycle is the radiator covers that sports gills for improved cooling. There’s also an aftermarket exhaust system that can be seen on the motorcycle.
Yamaha may have made this bike to show something new the Osaka Show. The bike may not be launched but we could see some of its inspiration on some versions of MT-09 that may come in the future.
