Yamaha has unveiled the new MT-09 Tracer at the ongoing EICMA Show in Milan, Italy. The MT-09, or the FJ-09, as it is called in the US market, is an adventure touring motorcycle based on the Japanese manufacturer’s popular middleweight naked, the MT-09. The MT-09 Tracer has been given several upgrades to transform it into a long distance tourer, fit to take on the likes of the Triumph Tiger 800XC, Ducati Hypermotard and the Suzuki V-Strom 1000. The MT-09 Tracer is powered by the same three-cylinder 847cc crossplane engine which produces 115bhp and 84Nm of torque, through a six-speed gearbox. It has been equipped with a centre-stand, panniers, 12-volt power socket and adjustable screen and handlebars to make it more touring-friendly. The MT-09 Tracer will be available in three paint schemes - grey, red and blue. Check out the detailed photo gallery of the MT-09 Tracer.
