- Yamaha R15 M now priced at Rs 1.94 lakh
- Gets price increase of Rs 500
- No changes to features or styling
Yamaha has increased the prices of some of its models in India including the R15 M, which is the top-spec version in the range.
The motorcycle is now priced at Rs 1,94,400, ex-showroom making it Rs 500 more expensive than it was before. That being said, the price revision hasn’t affected the standard R15 that continues to sell at Rs 1.80 lakh, ex-showroom for the Metallic Red colour.
The Yamaha R15 M got an update recently wherein it was equipped with a TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity, day/night modes and parking location along with other essential information. In addition to this, the Yamaha R15 M also sports LED indicators as standard. However, it continued with the same styling as the previous model.
Now the increase in pricing hasn’t brought about any changes either. It retains the tried-and-tested 155cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 18.1bhp and 14.2Nm. The motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox with quickshifter as standard. It also comes with a traction control system, two ride modes and dual-channel ABS as standard. Competing against the Yamaha R15 M in India is the KTM RC 125 and RC200 along with the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 and the Bajaj Pulsar RS200.
