Yamaha R15 V 2.0 silently introduced with new colours and slight price hike

Yamaha Motor India Pvt. Ltd. has silently added new colour options for the YZF-R15 V 2.0. The two new colour options, sparky green and adrenaline red, are available at a price of Rs 1,18,373 (ex-showroom New Delhi).

The sparky green version sports a grey and white paint scheme with a dash of green colour on the fairing. Similarly, the adrenaline trim colour option gets red paint on the fairing with the same grey livery. There are no other changes to the motorcycle and it still comes powered by the 149.8 cc single cylinder engine churning out 17bhp of power and 15Nm of torque. This motor comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.

The Yamaha YZF-R15 V 2.0 is the same motorcycle that was introduced in 2011 and is the facelifted version of the first variant introduced in 2008 in India. Now, the manufacturer has added these new paint schemes in a bid to give it a different avatar. And the price hike is not only for the new colour options, but also for the standard version that earlier costed Rs 1,14,741 (ex-showroom New Delhi).
