- Yamaha India hikes prices across the range
- R15 V3, Fazer 25, FZ25 and FZ Fi series affected
- Price hiked by Rs 500 to Rs 830
Yamaha Motor India has increased the prices of the R15 V3, FZ25, Fazer 25, FZ-Fi and FZS- Fi in the country.
The price hike ranges from Rs 500 to Rs 830 depending on the bike. To begin with, the R15 V3 now costs Rs 1,40, 280 which is a Rs 600 increase over the earlier price. The Fazer 25 gets a Rs 500 hike in price and is now listed at Rs 1,44,180.
Meanwhile, the prices of the FZS-FI and FZ-FI have also been hiked by Rs 500 and the bikes now cost Rs 98,180 and Rs 96,180 each. On the other hand, the heaviest increase in price has been borne by the Fazer 25. The streetfighter now costs Rs 1,34,180; an increase of Rs 830 from its previous retail price.
However, the price hike does not affect the Yamaha MT-15 which costs Rs 1.36 lakhs. In other news, Yamaha Motor India took the YZF-R15 S and the Fazer V2.0 off the shelves as both motorcycles weren’t equipped with ABS. The sales numbers of the YZF-R15 S and the Fazer V2.0 had been dwindling for quite some time now which could also be the reason that the company pulled the plug on them.
