-Livery is replica of Yamaha’s 2019 MotoGP bike
-Currently available only for the YZF-R125
-Could be available for the YZF-R15 V3 soon
Yamaha has unveiled the YZF-R125 with a MotoGP livery for international markets.
This livery is a replica of the 2019 Yamaha M1 which is being ridden by Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales for this season’s MotoGP championship. The bike gets a black and blue colour scheme with Monster Energy logos on the front and side fairing as well as the front mudguard. The YZF-R125 gets gold-finished forks as standard which further adds to the sporty look of the bike.
In terms of design, the YZF-R125 is similar to the aggressively-styled YZF-R15 V3 that is sold in India. While the YZF-R125 with MotoGP livery or even the standard version is unlikely to arrive in India, we can expect Yamaha to introduce the YZF-R15 V3 with a similar colour scheme in the country. When launched, the bike will demand a slight premium of around Rs 3000 to Rs 4000 over the standard R15 V3 which retails at Rs 1.39 lakhs (ex-showroom, India)
