- Yamaha launched the new Dark Knight edition
- Prices vary as per the colour option
- Metallic Grey is the most expensive trim
India Yamaha Motor recently refreshed the colour palette of its popular offering, the R15 V4. The Indian arm of the Japanese brand launched the new Dark Knight edition of the bike which looks refreshing. While it sports a stealth-looking full-black bodywork, the golden subtle accents on its fairing and golden wheels add a pinch of bling to its aesthetics.
The other four colour options have been in the portfolio for a while now. The most expensive of them is the Metallic Grey trim which is exclusive to the top-spec M variant of the bike. It comes adorned with a dual-tone paint scheme which is a combination of grey and black body panels with blue alloy wheels. Other features exclusive to the M trim include sleek LED turn indicators and an R1-inspired colour TFT screen which shows ample information.
The standard variant of the R15 V4 can be bought in Metallic Red, Racing Blue, or Intensity White paint scheme, besides the newly-launched Dark Knight edition. All the variants of the motorcycle are powered by a 155cc, liquid-cooled engine with a variable valve actuation system. This unit churns out 18.1bhp and 14.2Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. Besides an assist and slipper clutch, the bike also gets a quick shifter as standard (optional for Dark Knight and Metallic Red).
