The Yamaha R15 V4 has received yet another price hike in India. While the manufacturer increased the price by Rs 600 in May, the recent hike bumps the prices by an additional Rs 500. However, the World GP 60th Anniversary Edition gets a Rs 900 hike this month.
Here is the detailed breakdown of the prices of the Yamaha R15 V4 for June against May:
YZF-R15 V4 Metallic Red: Rs 1,77,400 (vs. Rs 1,76,900)
YZF-R15 V4 Dark Knight: Rs 1,78,400 (vs. Rs 1,77,900)
YZF-R15 V4 Racing Blue: Rs 1,82,400 (vs. Rs 1,81,900)
YZF-R15M Metallic Grey: Rs 1,87,400 (vs 1,86,900)
YZF-R15M WGP 60th Edition: Rs 1,88,800 (vs. Rs 1,88,300)
And even though the motorcycle has gotten dearer by around Rs 1,100 in a short span of two months, it continues to be more affordable than the KTM RC 200 that demands a Rs 2.13 lakh price. It is also priced lower than the KTM RC 125 that costs Rs 1.86 lakh.
However, despite the hikes, it remains the same mechanically, cosmetically and in terms of features too. All variants are powered by a 155cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 18.1bhp and 14.2Nm. They also share the aggressive styling that incorporates the LED projector and DRLs, an LCD instrument cluster and USD forks. However, the R15 M gets the quick shifter and traction control as standard.
