Yamaha R15M Carbon Fibre Pattern launched at Rs 2.08 lakh

-New carbon fibre pattern inspired by R1M

The Yamaha R15M has been launched in a new Carbon Fibre Pattern at Rs 2.08 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The colourway is inspired by the full carbon fibre R1M. Both the R15M in the carbon fibre pattern and the R1M were showcased earlier this year at the Bharat Mobility Expo.

The carbon fibre pattern has been done using water dipping techniques and the company claims an exceptional finish that resembles actual carbon fibre panels.

In addition to these visual changes, Yamaha has also updated the R15M range. The colour TFT display now features turn-by-turn navigation as well as volume and music control. These features are accessible using the Yamaha Y-connect app after pairing a smartphone using Bluetooth.

Besides this, there are no changes. The Yamaha R15M is powered by a 155cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 18bhp at 10,000rpm and 14.2Nm at 7,500rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox with a quick shifter. The engine is known for its refinement, performance and reliability.

The bike is known for its exceptional handling as well and makes for a good, beginner's sports bike.
