The fascia of one of the most hotly anticipated twin-cylinder motorcycles of 2014 has now finally been revealed. Yes, we are talking about the Yamaha R25, which was spotted in production form in Indonesia recently and is slated to be launched later this year.
The pictures reveal that the R25 will get a twin headlight setup attached to a ‘much sharper than the R15’ front faring, pilot lamps positioned between the headlights, standard front forks and ventilated disc for the front. We also know that the R25 will get a similar gauge setup as the R15 (analogue tacho+digital Speedometer), LED tail lamp and what appears to be a stubby end can.
The Yamaha R25 was unveiled last year and then shown to the Indian market at the 2014 Auto Expo. It is powered by a twin-cylinder unit that is expected to produce 32-35bhp and roughly the same amount of torque. The mill will be mated to a six-speed sequential unit.
