Yamaha Motor India has reported its sales data for October 2020. The company announced that its total sales have increased by 31 per cent. Yamaha Motor India sold 60,176 units in October 2020 as against 46,082 units in October last year.
The Indian arm of the Japanese two-wheeler brand has been reporting positive growth in its sales volumes consecutively over the past four months, following the lifting of the COVID-19 led lockdown. Yamaha registered a 4.3 per cent growth in July 2020 as compared to July 2019, 14.8 per cent growth in August 2020 as against August 2019 and 17 per cent growth in September 2020 as compared to September 2019.
The company expects to witness even better sales during the high-demand festive season in November. To further boost the sales, Yamaha will offer attractive finance schemes, including low down payment options, for its new 125cc scooters in specific markets during this festive season. The 125cc scooter range comprises of the Fascino, Ray ZR and, the Ray ZR Street Rally.
In more updates, the company has announced the Bluetooth-connectivity option for its FZ series of motorcycles.
