- Yamaha introduces ‘Sport Pack’ accessory package for MT-125 and MT-03
- Includes cosmetic, protection and touring-oriented accessories
- Available only in the European markets
Yamaha’s MT series of motorcycles are inarguably some of the most exciting streetfighters out in the market. While these bikes lend a sheer fun in their stock form itself, the Japanese bike maker has introduced a new accessory package for the MT-125 and MT-03, to make them further desirable. Notably, these accessories have been introduced only for the European markets.
The Sport Pack accessory list for the bikes majorly comprises of cosmetic, protection and touring-oriented kit. For the entry-level MT-125, Yamaha has introduced a new fly screen, a set of LED blinkers, tank pad, engine protectors and a new license plate holder with an ‘MT-125’ logo. While the bigger MT-03 too gets these elements, it can also be loaded with dedicated touring accessories such as Yamaha branded tank bag, soft side bags, top case and rear seat bag. The MT-03 can also be fitted with a carbon fibre heatshield and radiator protector.
The Sport Pack for the MT-125 and MT-03 cost £326.74 (Rs 30,362) and £398.68 (Rs 37,068), respectively. While both these bikes are not yet launched in India, Yamaha sells the MT-15 in the country with a couple of accessory options. As we had reported in October, the Japanese bike maker is expected to launch the 2020 MT-03 in India sometime next year and we might see the aforementioned kit to be available with it as an option.
