Yamaha Motor India sales have registered a growth of 11 per cent in overall sales for may 2017. They sold 69,429 units last month in comparison to 62,748 two-wheelers sold in the same month in 2016.
All these numbers include the sales of both, scooters and motorcycles in India and Nepal. Yamaha has not provided a break-up of sales numbers for each of their models. However, we think this double digit growth is mainly due to the new BSIV compatible scooters and bikes that have found a good demand. Then, the addition of the new FZ25 to the Yamaha line-up has given the sales numbers a little push too.
