Yamaha has unveiled a new version of their popular scooter the Cygnus Ray ZR today at the Auto Expo 2016. Yamaha India has also kick started their ‘We are young’ strategy to connect with the young two-wheeler buyer market in the country.
The Yamaha stall at the Auto Expo has their entire product line-up on display. The scooters start with the top of the line Fascino, followed by the Cygnus Ray Z and the Cygnus Alpha. Amongst the motorcycles we have the Saluto 125, the FZ 2.0, the Fazer 2.0 and the SZ-RR in the commuter, street-bikes fleet. The Yamaha R15 2.0, the R15 S and the Yamaha R3 are a part of their performance motorcycles.
Amongst the superbikes, we have the Yamaha V-Max on display along with Jorge Lorenzo’s MotoGP winning champion motorcycle – the YZR M1. Under the wraps for today we have a super sport motorcycle which we think is the R1M – a 1000cc monster of a machine. We have another scooter under the wraps and this is no regular 100cc. We suspect it to the Yamaha N-Max power scooter.
Yamaha has something more for us from under the wraps tomorrow. Stay tuned to BikeWale for more dope on new launches, unveils and upcoming motorcycles.
