Yamaha has launched the Star Eluder bagger, based on the Star Venture.
The bike gets a shorter screen to give it the bagger-appeal. It loses the touring seats, pillion backrest and top-box.
It is powered by a 1854cc V-twin that produces 170Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
The 396kg motorcycle sits on 46mm forks up-front and a gas pressurised monoshock at the rear.
The bike sports electronic aids like riding modes and traction control along with ABS as standard.
It also gets a Bluetooth-integrated infotainment system with a seven-inch touchscreen.
Along with the screen, the infotainment system can be managed with the handle-bar controls.
The Star Eluder will only be sold in America.
It rivals other baggers like the Honda Goldwing F6B and BMW K1600B
