Yamaha has launched the SZ-RR Version 2.0 in a new matt green paint scheme. This popular paint scheme, which was first offered in the FZ-S and the Fazer motorcycles, has been priced Rs 1,000 more than the standard colour variants.
This new model was first showcased earlier this year at the Yamaha pavillion at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi. While the fuel tank, engine, frame, exhaust and the wheels are blacked-out, the tank shrouds, fender and specific sections of the rear and side panels are painted in a matt green shade. Apart from this new livery, the SZ-RR is mechanically and cosmetically identical to the standard motorcycle. It continues with the same 149cc single-cylinder engine, which delivers 11.9bhp and 12.8Nm of torque through a five-speed transmission. This engine comes with Yamaha's proprietary Blue Core technology, which improves the efficiency of the engine without compromising on performance.
The Yamaha SZ-RR is positioned between the FZ and the Saluto, in the excutive 150cc commuter segment. It competes with the Hero Achiever and the Bajaj Discover 150.
