Yamaha is planning to take the Tenere 700 adventure bike to a whole new level. The company may offer the bike with rally raid accessories under their Genuine Yamaha Technology Racing (GYTR) program.
According to a report, the Japanese are interested in launching the premium spares program for the Tenere 700 as there have been a lot of customers asking for it. The brand has this program running for its motocross bikes and also for its R series. It will be quite interesting to see what it does for the Tenere series as this brand has managed to have a huge fan following in Europe.
Last year, Yamaha showcased the Tenere 700 World Raid concept at the 2021 EICMA. With this unveiling, it was clear that the brand would want to experiment with this ADV. We believe, the Japanese brand would first showcase a GYTR concept followed by launching the program officially.
