Yamaha has unveiled their new sport motorcycle, the MT-09. The MT-09 is the new naked motord from Yamaha powered for the first time by an inline three-cylinder engine. The engine powering the new model is an 850cc liquid cooled unit generating 115PS of power at 10,000rpm and 87.5Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm.
The MT-09 is a light and compact model with raw and linear torque output. It features a slim and lightweight C die-cast aluminum swingarm, monocross rear suspension with horizontal shock and upside down shock in the front. The bike has an all-new lightweight 10-spoke allow wheels which are fitted with newly-developed radial tyres – 120/70ZR17 at the front and 180/55ZR17 at the rear.
The motorcycle gets a decent 14-litre fuel tank with knee recesses to ensure comfortable riding position and has a manageable kerb weight of 188kg.Company has just unveiled motorcycle in Europe and once launched it will be available in four colours – Deep Armor, Blazing Orange,Matt Grey and Race Blu.
