Looks like the top honchos at Yamaha love three-wheeler scooters. After adding the Tri-City in their production line-up, the company has shown more interest in this type of scooter, by unveiling two more scooter concepts codenamed – 03GEN-f and 03GEN-x.
The 03GEN-F is based on the famous Tri-City. Yamaha says that this model was designed with the underlying theme future racing, and it visually expresses both the futuristic feel which is expressed by emphasising the leaning multi-wheel mechanism and Yamaha's racing image. The 03GEN-X gets cross as its underlying design theme combines both an advanced-looking frame that exposes the three wheels and the traditional off-road design. The components on this scooter looks quite familiar to the ones on the Tri-City, making us believe that the production model will see parts sharing.
The company hasn’t disclosed anything about its technical specifications, but honestly, both the models are admirable. The overall design language looks very futuristic, but we are expecting the production models (if it happens), to get a toned down design.
