- Yamaha XMax 300 Roma revealed in Italy
- Limited to 130 units
- Is powered by a 292cc engine
Yamaha has revealed the XMax 300 Roma Edition for Europe. The scooter, as its name suggests is dedicated to the city of Rome and is limited to just 130 units.
The XMax 300 is a maxi-scooter with aggressively-styled bodywork. And on the front end, the full-LED headlamp on the Roma Edition is flanked by graffiti decals with the name of Roman streets. The scooter also offers a large rider and pillion seat.
Furthermore, to set it apart from the standard model, Yamaha has plastered a decal of the Roman Colosseum on the rear section. And unlike the blue, silver, and grey colours on the base version, the XMax 300 is only available in a white colour scheme.
Nevertheless, Yamaha has retained the mechanical parts of the standard model. The XMax 300 Roma Edition is powered by a 292cc, single-cylinder, 4-valve, liquid-cooled engine that produces 27.2bhp of power and 29Nm of torque. It rides on a large, 15-inch front wheel and 14-inch rear wheel. The suspension is taken care of by telescopic forks upfront and twin shocks at the rear, whereas braking is done by disc brakes at both ends.
Yamaha has already revealed the pricing of the XMax 300 Roma Edition in Europe. While the Indian market will not receive the special edition scooter, the base model of the XMax 300 is also unlikely to be introduced in the country anytime soon.
