- 2023 Yamaha XSR125 revealed in Europe
- Gets new paint options
- Unlikely to be launched in India
Yamaha has taken the wraps off the 2023 XSR 125 in the European market. And the MT125-based motorcycle has been updated with new colour schemes for the new model year.
To begin with, the Yamaha XSR125 now comes in Yamaha Blue which incorporates bronze wheels and yellow graphics just like its biggest sibling- the XSR900. Then there is Impact Yellow which aims to follow the Iwata manufacturer’s iconic colour block pattern with yellow and black. You can also get the XSR125 in a choice of white and red.
Well, with that said, the rest of the 2023 Yamaha XSR125 remains unchanged. It is powered by a 125cc, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 14.75bhp and 10.85Nm. And even though it is Yamaha’s entry level model, it comes with premium features like full-LED lighting, ABS at both ends and inverted front fork.
While the XSR125 is an interesting proposition, it is unlikely to make its way to India anytime soon. We expected Yamaha to launch the XSR155 in the country a while ago, although we were greeted with the FZ-X that incorporated the same style in a more affordable package.
