- Prices hiked for R15M, MotoGP edition, and 60th GP Edition
- Second price revision since August
- No changes have been made to the bikes
After its previous price hike in August, the Yamaha R15 range has seen another price revision for this month. Similar to the last one, the new asking price has also seen a marginal hike. Let’s take a look.
Yamaha R15M: 1,89,900 (ex-showroom Delhi)
Yamaha R15M WGP 60th Edition: Rs 1,91,300 (ex-showroom Delhi)
Yamaha R15M MotoGP Edition: Rs 1,91,900 (ex-showroom Delhi)
Yamaha has bumped the prices by Rs 1,000 for all three models. While it isn’t a substantial hike, the bikes don’t get any updates with the new prices. Moreover, this is the third price hike since April. That said, the revision is likely a result of the increasing commodity costs.
The bike continues to feature the same 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with VVA. It’s mated to a six-speed gearbox and develops 18.1bhp and 14.2Nm. That said, Yamaha has equipped the R15 V4 with a bevy of features like LED illumination, ABS, traction control, a fully digital display, and a quickshifter as well. It also gets golden USD front forks and a monoshock setup. Meanwhile, the braking hardware comprises a single front and rear disc.
