- Yamaha YZF R15 V4 gets more expensive
- Prices hiked by Rs 2,000
The Yamaha YZF R15 V4 has become more expensive for the second time since its launch in September 2021. After receiving a price hike of Rs 3,000 in November, the motorcycle has recently become further dearer by Rs 2,000. The latest variant-wise prices (ex-showroom) of the YZF R15 V4 are mentioned below:
Metallic Red: Rs 1,72,800
Dark Knight: Rs 1,73,800
Racing Blue: Rs 1,77,800
Metallic Grey (M): Rs 1,82,800
Monster Energy (M): Rs 1,82,800
Yamaha gave the R15 a comprehensive update last year which only made it even more desirable. It sports a design inspired by the bigger YZF R7 with thin DRLs flanking a projector LED headlamp. Even the fairing design has been slightly revised which makes it look bigger now. Furthermore, the motorcycle is more loaded with modern features such as a Bluetooth enabled console, traction control system, and a quick shifter (optional).
Propelling the bike is a 155cc, liquid-cooled engine that gets variable valve actuation (VVA) functionality that helps the engine rev freely in the top end. It produces 18.1bhp of power and 14.2Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. The hardware package is also premium with components like upside-down forks, an aluminium swingarm, and a delta box frame.
