Yamaha YZF R25 picture gallery and videos

All speculations and rumours have been put to rest with Yamaha launching the highly awaited motorcycle, R25, in Indonesia yesterday. Built with the experience gained out of Yamaha's years of research and development, the company is marekting the bike as 'the superbike you can ride everyday'.

     

The Yamaha YZF R25 is available in three paint schemes- racing blue, black predator, and diablo red. The motorcycle is powered by an eight-valve 250cc four-stroke parallel-twin liquid-cooled DOHC engine that churns out 35.5bhp at 12,000rpm and 22.1Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm. The motor is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.

     

Yamaha Indonesia has priced the YZF R25 at Rs 2.71 lakh in Indonesia and deliveries of the bike will begin from July, this year. We are really very anxious to know about its launch here in India when it will go up against the Kawasaki Ninja 300R.
