Yamaha Motor India has launched two new colour schemes for its most successful motorcycle, the YZF-R15 2.0. The company says that the introduction of GP blue and streaking cyan colours are to celebrate the upcoming Holi festival.
India Yamaha Motors is known to update its products with new colour schemes – a way to keep their products look exciting and extend the product life cycle. This is the fourth time the company has given a cosmetic update to the R15 2.0. Along with these new colour schemes, the Japanese manufacturer will continue to sell the four colours – racing blue, grid gold, raring red and invincible black.
“Yamaha R15 is a pure sports vehicle designed especially for racing enthusiasts so that they can experience the power and passion that a sports bike has to offer. The racing DNA, sporty look and superior technology have been synonymous with the R15. While, the core concept of R15 remains the same, with these new colours we strive to continuously interact and excite our target audiences. As we launch the R15 Ver 2.0 in 2 new avatars, we are again very confident that this new introduction will help to keep our target audiences absolutely delighted,” said Roy Kurian, vice-president, sales & marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales.
It is high time that Yamaha came out with new motorcycles and stop updating its products by adding new colours. Just like other manufacturers, Yamaha has been focussing more on the scooter segment due to its vast growth over the last few years. The next new motorcycle launch from the company could be the most anticipated bike, the R25.
