Yamaha Motor India has announced the launch of a new colour option for the YZF-R15 Version 3.0. The new Metallic Red colour will join the existing palette that comprises of Racing Blue, Thunder Grey and Darknight. The Metallic Red colour, which will be available from 1 April, 2021 onwards, has been priced at Rs 1,52,100 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The new colour option features a red colour for the fairing, fuel tank, and the rear panel while the headlight cowl gets a black finish. The Metallic Red paint retains the standard features and specifications.
Thus, it continues to use the 155cc, liquid-cooled, SOHC, four-valve, fuel-injected engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) and Assist & Slipper (A&S) Clutch. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the motor is tuned to produce 18.37bhp and 14.1Nm of peak torque. The feature list includes full-LED headlight, a digital instrument cluster, and a Side Stand Engine Cut-off Switch.
