- Launched delayed by a few months
-Was spotted testing a few weeks ago
-Goes up against the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450
The Yezdi Adventure is set to receive a comprehensive set of updates, however, the motorcycle won’t be launched soon, as was expected previously. The company is likely to call it the Adventure 350 and word is that Yezdi is still working on the bike and testing the upgrades. Hence the launch is still a few months away. Yezdi, in fact, is working on adding a new variant to the existing Adventure to give it a bit more teeth to fight competition.
The Yezdi Adventure 350 is likely to feature a few mechanical changes in relation to the current bike. The spy shots of the bikes reveal a new exhaust pipe with a revised routing. Unlike the previous bike where the exhaust pipe goes along the side of the engine, the new exhaust pipe header moves from under the engine to the rear portion of the exhaust. As a consequence, the coolant reservoir has also been shifted from the area behind the sump guard to behind the airbox. The engine is expected to offer better refinement and NVH as well.
Barring these mechanical changes, we may see the addition of new features as well. These updates are crucial and couldn’t have been timed better. The ADV segment has been been witnessing a lot of action up after the launch of the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. Even the new KTM 390 Adventure is expected to be unveiled towards the end of this year and there’s quite a lot of anticipation around that motorcycle.
The Yezdi Adventure 350 clearly has its work cut out and it'll be interesting to see what it turns out to be once it is launched.
