Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has announced that the Yezdi Adventure will now come equipped with the Mountain Pack accessory package as standard. The entire set of touring accessories, for which customers had to pay an additional Rs. 17,000, will come fitted as standard for a limited period. Notably, the company hasn’t specified the exact validity of this offer.
The Mountain Pack includes jerry can holders, five-litre jerry cans, a crash guard, handguards with bar-end weights, and a headlamp grill. Despite the inclusion of these add-ons, the prices of the Yezdi Adventure continue to start from Rs. 2.16 lakh and go up to Rs. 2.20 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom) depending on the chosen colour variant.
Yezdi’s Royal Enfield Himalayan rival is powered by a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 29.89bhp at 8,000rpm and 29.84Nm at 6,500rpm. This unit comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. It rides on a 21-18-inch spoke wheel combination that is suspended by telescopic forks and a monoshock. A single disc handles braking duties at both ends accompanied by dual-channel ABS with three modes. Other features include a digital console with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and a type-C charging port.
