- Yezdi Motorcycle to make its entry in India soon
- Website and social channels go live
- Launch likely in 2020
Classic Legends, the Mahindra owned subsidiary which currently has the Jawa brand is likely to launch Yezdi Motorcycles in India soon. This news comes after Yezdi’s official website and social channels have been taken live.
While there is no official confirmation about the launch timeline of Yezdi brand, we expect it to be sometime in 2020. We can also expect Classic Legends to hit consumers with nostalgia by launching modern iterations of the Yezdi Classic and Yezdi Roadking. Will these motorcycles be powered by retuned versions of the 293cc single-cylinder engine that does duty in the Jawa? Most likely so. It could also share similar components and cycle parts with the latter to keep costs down.
When launched in India, the Yezdi Motorcycles could be priced slightly lower than the Jawa motorcycles, just like the older days. However, it will be interesting to see what exactly Classic Legends has in store for the iconic brand. Stay tuned as we uncover more details!
