Royal Enfield Meteor 350: Rs 2.02-2.18 lakh
Starting with its closest rival, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is another cruiser worth considering. If you want a motorcycle for relaxed cruising on the highway with high levels of comfort, the Meteor 350 is a great option. It is based on RE’s new J platform which comprises a smooth 350cc engine. It also comes equipped with useful features like a Tripper navigation system and a USB charger.
Honda Hness CB350: Rs 1.96-2.04 lakh
The Honda Hness CB350 too competes against the Meteor 350 and the Roadster but it’s sportier and less cruiser-ish. It offers an upright riding stance and better agility than its close contenders. The 348cc engine might not be extraordinary on paper but it outshines others in terms of refinement and smoothness. The top-end variant also gets Bluetooth connectivity and a traction control system.
Benelli Imperiale 400: Rs 1.90 lakh
One can also consider the Benelli Imperiale 400 which offers more or less the same aspects as the aforementioned models. It sports a quintessential retro styling with a 374cc, air-cooled engine with a thumping sound and performance numbers of 20.7bhp and 29Nm. It gets a semi-digital instrument cluster and dual-channel ABS while the rest of the aspects remain old-school.
KTM RC 200: Rs 2.09 lakh
If none of the above bikes entices you and you want something extremely sporty and modern, the KTM RC 200 is your best bet. With the latest update, it has become substantially more practical with a more relaxed seating triangle than before. Even the engine has given away its hooligan character in favour of better refinement and tractability. Moreover, the styling, which looks more mature, makes it more welcoming and accessible.
