After having ridden the new Yezdi Scrambler, were we impressed? Well, you can read all about it HERE. But now, let us look at some stunning images from the first ride review along with details of the Yezdi Scrambler.
Just like the other models in the Yezdi range, the Scrambler is based on the same platform as the Jawa range. However, it gets a unique scrambler-like styling that is unlike any other motorcycle in its segment. So it sports a high-set mudguard, a ribbed seat, and a chopped rear fender to complete the rugged look.
While the upswept exhaust canisters and the wire-spoke wheels in a 19/17-inch combination add to its look, the headlamp mesh guard and knuckle guard you see here are offered as accessories.
The Yezdi Scrambler draws power from a 334cc, single-cylinder engine that is capable of churning out 28.7bhp and 28.2Nm. And in case you are wondering, this engine is the same as the one on the other Yezdis- borrowed from the Jawa Perak but tweaked to suit each motorcycle.
With telescopic forks upfront and twin shocks at the rear, the Scrambler also offers decent ground clearance. As for braking, it comes with single discs at both ends with non-switchable, dual-channel ABS.
In terms of features, the digital instrument on the Yezdi Scrambler is the same as on the other two models and displays a good amount of info. You also get full-LED lighting and a charging port with USB and Type C compatibility. Thoughtful indeed.
That said, a scrambler is supposed to have the tricks of both trade- on-road and off-road. Its fitments might say so, but the riding ergos on the Yezdi Scrambler are more suited to road riding than traversing on the paths unpaved.
