Yoshimura launches exhaust for 2017 KTM 390 Duke

Yoshimura has launched the Alpha T slip-on exhaust for the KTM 390 Duke. The exhaust not only ensures that the bike looks and sounds better, it also increases performance.

The company claims that the Alpha T provides an 11 per cent bump in horsepower and 17 per cent bump in peak torque. Since the exhaust is a slip-on, there is no need to tune the ECU for emmisions. Although Yoshimura has not revealed the difference in weight, it says that the exhaust is lighter than the stock version. 

Yoshimura has also revealed a fender eliminator kit for a shorter rear end to replace the rather long tail of the KTM 390 Duke. The kit accommodates the stock turn signals and also gets a carbon fibre number plate holder and illuminator.

The Alpha T exhaust has a price tag of USD 429 (Rs 27,462) while the fender eliminator kit costs USD 149 (Rs 9,538). We can expect the exhaust and fender eliminator kit to be available at Yoshimura’s official distributors, Ultimate Auto Impex in a couple of months.
