Yamaha launched the 2020 iteration of its fully-faired motorcycle, the YZF R15 V3, in India. The motorcycle is now BS6 compliant and has received the related changes in its engine which has resulted in a considerable drop in its power output. Husqvarna Svartpilen 200 revealed
After unveiling the Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250 in India, Husqvarna has now taken the wraps off their smaller sibling, the Svartpilen 200. Based on the KTM 200 Duke, the motorcycle is underpinned by a steel trellis frame which holds a 200cc, single-cylinder motor capable of producing 24.6bhp and 19.2Nm. Braking and suspension hardware is also the same as the 200 Duke. In terms of design, the motorcycle retains the scrambler styling of the Svartpilen 250. Husqvarna is expected to launch the Svartpilen 200 in 2021 in India, whereas the 250cc twins will arrive at dealerships by February 2020.
Most affordable Harley-Davidson nearing production
Harley-Davidson, along with its China-based partner, Qianjiang, has finalised the design for its upcoming smallest displacement motorcycle. This is an indication that the motorcycle will be entering into the production phase soon which will be handled by Qianjiang. According to the design sketches which were released in June 2019, the motorcycle is majorly based on the Benelli 302S. It will be employing a similar 338cc parallel-twin motor while the trellis frame, swingarm, suspension and brakes also seem to be borrowed from the Benelli. Considering these advancements related to the most affordable Harley-Davidson, the motorcycle is likely to be introduced in China next year while it may arrive in India by 2021.
