Aprilia RS 660 and Tuono 660 launch
Piaggio officially announced the India launch of the Aprilia RS 660 and the Tuono 660. Both bikes have been available in the international markets for a long time. They are powered by the same 659cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine but this motor is tuned to produce different power and torque output in each of them. The electronics and hardware package is quite premium and so are their price tags. While the RS costs Rs 13.39 lakh, the Tuono is priced at Rs 13.09 lakh.
New Triumph Speed Twin BS6 launched
Triumph introduced the new BS6 edition of its neo-retro offering, the Speed Twin, in India. Despite a cleaner engine, the motorcycle makes 2.6bhp as compared to its predecessor at 98.6bhp. Meanwhile, the torque output has remained unchanged at 112Nm. The suspension and braking hardware have also been improved now. Triumph has priced the bike at Rs 10.99 lakh.
2021 KTM RC series unveiled
KTM unveiled the 2021 editions of its fully-faired motorcycles including the RC 125, RC 200, and the RC 390. From styling to hardware, almost everything about these bikes has been updated. The most enticing changes have been received by the RC 390 that now gets traction control and cornering ABS. A bi-direction quick shifter is also available as an option.
