The last week was majorly about new product launches. Amongst all the new entrants, the most interesting is the electric motorcycle from the Indian manufacturer Tork Motors. We also witnessed a bunch of developments from the newly re-launched brand, Yezdi. Want to know more? Read on.
Tork Motors introduced its first electric motorcycle, the Kratos, in the Indian market with prices starting from Rs 1,92,499 (ex-showroom, Pune before subsidies). It will be available in two variants – standard and R. The more premium version has been priced at Rs 2,07,499. Post subsidy, the ex-showroom (Pune) price for the Kratos and the Kratos R stand at Rs 1,07,999 and Rs 1,22,999, respectively.
Yamaha refreshed the colour palette of its quarter-litre offering, the FZ25 by introducing two new paint schemes for its S variant. The FZS 25 will now be available in all-new Matte Copper and Matte Black colour options. The FZ 25, on the other hand, will continue to feature Racing Blue and Metallic Black paint options.
Honda has launched the 2022 edition of its middle-weight sports tourer, the CBR 650R, in India. The motorcycle has been priced at Rs 9.35 lakh (ex-showroom) which makes it around Rs 47,000 more expensive than the previous model. And for that premium, you get two new colour options - Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.
Yezdi bikes deliveries commence
Classic Legends has commenced the deliveries of the newly launched Yezdi motorcycles in India after launching them on 13 January, 2022. The company has started the deliveries of all three motorcycles – the Adventure, Scrambler, and the Roadster. The motorcycles rival the likes of Royal Enfield Himalayan, Meteor 350, KTM 250 Adventure, and the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250.
Apart from kick-starting deliveries, Yezdi has confirmed that it will be launching the Roadking in the country sometime soon. The Roadking was Yezdi’s prime two-wheeler in the ‘80s and ‘90s and when launched, will be the flagship model in the line-up. It is likely to be based on the BSA Goldstar that comes with a 652cc, single-cylinder mill churning out 45bhp and 55Nm.
