The next few months are going to be eventful for the Indian two-wheeler industry as we will witness new launches in a variety of segments. While we have already covered all updates in detail, here’s a quick roundup of them to spice up your Sunday.
2025 Kawasaki Vulcan S
Kawasaki has launched the 2025 edition of the Vulcan S in India. The motorcycle has been priced at Rs. 7.10 lakh which is the same as the previous model. The only change it has received is the introduction of a new colour option called the Pearl Matte Sage Green. The mechanical specifications of the bike have remained unchanged.
2025 KTM 205 Duke launch
KTM India silently launched the updated 250 Duke. The new model has a new TFT screen and a headlight with boomerang-shaped LED DRLs borrowed from the 390 Duke. The switchgear too has been revised and the 250 Duke gets a four-way menu switch layout. The screen packs new graphics with a larger rev counter, and smartphone connectivity for navigation, headset connection, and more.
Kawasaki KLX 230 S India launch
The Kawasaki KLX 230 S is expected to be launched in India on 17 October, as per the brand’s latest teaser on social media. Moreover, select dealers have started accepting bookings for a minimum refundable booking amount of Rs. 10,000. Kawasaki is expected to price the KLX 230 S at Rs. 2.5 lakh, ex-showroom and it will rival the Hero Xpulse 200 4V in terms of displacement and purpose.
Royal Enfield Himalayan Rally
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Rally made its first public appearance at the Rally de Cuencas in Spain and was piloted by CS Santosh. Its hardware comprised fully adjustable front forks with a new triple clamp, conventional spoke wheels with tubed tyres, and aftermarket handlebar guards too. While the changes to the engine are unknown, the Himalayan 450 Rally was equipped with an Akrapovic exhaust which could increase the overall output marginally.
2025 Yamaha R3 global debut
The Yamaha R3 finally received a much-needed update for the year 2025 overseas. The motorcycle looks much sharper and more aggressive now with a revised fascia. Plus, Yamaha has equipped it with an assist and slipper clutch and a new LCD console which can be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth. The main technical specifications of the 2025 Yamaha R3 remain the same as its predecessor.
