New Hero Maestro Edge 125 launch
Hero MotoCorp heated up the 125cc scooter segment by launching the updated version of the Maestro Edge 125. This model gets a re-designed body work along with new features. Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid launch
Another 125cc scooter that received significant updates is the Yamaha Fascino 125. Thanks to the new hybrid power assist tech, it makes slightly more power and torque than the previous edition. There are new features too in the form of full-LED lighting and a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity as an option. The prices of the scooter start from Rs 70,000.
The third 125cc product to receive Bluetooth technology last week was the Hero Glamour. Called the Xtec variant, it gives access to turn-by-turn navigation, an integrated USB charger, and an LED headlamp. The new all-digital console also shows more data than the base trim. Other changes are subtle cosmetic add-ons and it’s slightly more expensive than other models of the Glamour.
Yamaha FZ25 MotoGP version launch
Yamaha bestowed its quarter-litre roadster, the FZ25, with MotoGP treatment. This limited-edition iteration of the bike gets Yamaha MotoGP branding on the tank shrouds, fuel tank, and the side panels. The Monster Energy decals are visible on the tank shrouds and side panels while the ENEOS logo is also visible on the fuel tank. Priced at Rs 1,36,800, the MotoGP trim of the FZ25 costs slightly more than the standard bike.
Ducati introduced its flagship adventure touring motorcycle, the Multistrada V4, in India. While it gets a styling similar to the Multistrada 1260, the design lines are sharper on the V4. It is also equipped with more advanced features and a new 1,158cc, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 168bhp and 125Nm of peak torque.
