Hero Mavrick 440 and Triumph Scrambler 1200X’s launches were the most noteworthy bike updates in the last week. However, there were some other interesting scoops also going up on BikeWale which you shouldn’t miss.
Hero MotoCorp launched its most powerful motorcycle in India, the Mavrick 440. The company is offering the Mavrick in three different trims and the bookings for it have commenced. Hero has pegged the Mavrick 440 at Rs. 1,99,000 for the Base model, Rs. 2,14,000 for the Mid and Rs. 2,24,000 for the Top trim. Powering the bike is a 440cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that makes 27bhp and a peak torque of 36Nm.
Triumph Scrambler 1200X launch
Triumph widened its portfolio by launching the new Scrambler 1200 X in India. With a price tag of Rs. 11.83 lakh, it’s the more affordable variant of the Scrambler 1200 XC and XE. With a seat height of 820mm, the X’s saddle sits much lower than the XC and its seat height can be further reduced to 795mm. The suspension and braking hardware are also more basic than other trims while the engine is the same 1,200cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 88.7bhp and 110Nm of peak torque.
Jawa 350 blue colour showcased
Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles showcased the Jawa 350 Blue at the Mahindra Blues Festival. The company has announced that the new blue colour variant will soon be introduced alongside the existing paint schemes. Currently, the bike is available in three colour schemes - Maroon, Black, and Mystique Orange all carrying the same price tag of Rs. 2.16 lakh.
New Kawasaki Versys X-300 spied
The Kawasaki Versys X 300 has been spotted testing for the first time in India ahead of its imminent launch on our shores. Kawasaki is likely to use the same 296cc parallel-twin cylinder engine in the Versys X 300 as it does for the Ninja 300. In the US, it is priced at USD 6,199 (approximately Rs. 5.14 lakh sans taxes). We think it could retail at a slightly lower asking price here in India.
2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS160, NS200 unveiled
The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and Pulsar NS200 have been unveiled on the company’s social media platforms. The bikes get a few tech updates that bring them up to date with the competition in their respective segments. Both bikes have received a new LED headlamp, a reverse LCD instrument cluster, and Bluetooth connectivity for smartphone pairing. Bajaj is expected to reveal the prices of the bikes soon.
