New two-wheeler launches, international unveils, new colour options and big discounts. These types of updates kept us on our toes last week, keeping us occupied with bringing you every development that took place in the Indian two-wheeler industry. And for the busy bees who couldn’t stay up to date with them, here’s a quick round-up of the top five bike updates from last week.
Hero expanded its portfolio by launching the sporty Xoom 110 scooter. While it’s based on the Maestro Edge 110 in terms of engine and a majority of hardware, there are many changes that make it more youth-centric. It gets a new design, additional features, and an engine that’s tuned to be peppier. The prices of the Xoom start from Rs 68,599.
Yezdi Adventure, Scrambler new colours
Yezdi introduced new colours for its Adventure and Scrambler offerings in India. While the former is now available in the new Whiteout paint scheme, the latter can be had in a Bold Black colour option. Prices of these colours stand at Rs 2,21,900 and Rs 2,09,900, respectively. Notably, these paint schemes will be sold alongside the existing colour variants.
Aprilia’s smallest supersport incoming
Aprilia’s upcoming smallest sport bike was spotted testing in India for the first time. It’s likely to be called the RS440 with the numbers denoting its tentative engine displacement. Spotted with camouflage near the brand’s Baramati plant, the motorcycle clearly sported a design similar to its bigger sibling, the RS660. Moreover, it’s expected to be loaded with modern features and carry premium pricing.
2023 KTM 390 Adventure unveiled
KTM took the wraps off the 2023 version of the 390 Adventure for the international markets. Addressing the demands of the enthusiasts, KTM has finally equipped the bike with spoke wheels from the factory which were available as an optional accessory before. Another change comes in the form of new black and orange graphics that look quite rugged.
Kawasaki India introduced special cash benefits on select models for February 2023. Under the Good Times Voucher offer, Kawasaki announced benefits of Rs 15,000 on its most-affordable motorcycle, the Ninja 300. Meanwhile, the company is offering bigger benefits on the Z650 and W800 that are worth Rs 50,000 and Rs 2,00,000, respectively.
