Taiwan-based EV maker and battery-swapping expert, Gogoro has entered India in association with Zypp Electric. The former will be running a B2B pilot program to test the feasibility of its battery-swapping solutions in the country. This will be executed with Gogoro’s smart scooter 100 units of which will be dispatched in Delhi in December.
Hero Xpulse 200T 4V picture leaked
Hero MotoCorp is prepping to launch the new 4V variant of its XPulse 200T touring-focused motorcycle. Ahead of its official debut, pictures of the bike have leaked on the internet. In fact, some of the details of the XPulse 200T 4V have also emerged as Hero has listed the bike on one of its international websites. As for the changes, it will boast subtle visual tweaks and internal revisions in the engine over the existing 2V iteration.
Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 unveil
Royal Enfield released a teaser of the global unveiling of its upcoming Super Meteor 650 mentioning that the cruiser will break covers on 8 November at the EICMA show in Milan. Moreover, we are expecting its India launch to take place at the Rider Mania which will take place from 18 to 20 November in Goa. The Super Meteor 650 will be based on the same platform as the Interceptor 650 but will incorporate certain changes to suit its cruiser avatar.
Honda showcased the CB500F naked street bike in India at one of its BigWing dealerships. The company is said to be gauging people’s response to this motorcycle as the dealer has been calling customers to visit the showroom to check the motorcycle out. For the uninitiated, this CB500F is based on the CB500X adventure tourer which is already on sale in India. The latter hasn’t received a favourable response in the country courtesy of its hefty pricing. Now, it remains to be seen how Honda pegs the street bike if it brings it to India.
